Welcome to our Second Celebrity Equinox Adventure! Like all of our other adventures, this one is going to be fun. Unlike most of our other adventures, this is one adventure I have not spent much time getting ready for. Thanks to our moving part time to Boston, and a rather busy workload this fall, I really haven't had much time to schedule excursions or do much research of the ports we will be visiting. It doesn't really matter, though, does it? Being on a cruise ship plying the waters of the Caribbean is almost never bad! Those of you who have faithfully followed along on these trips know from the First Equinox Adventure that we scheduled this trip with my mother and her husband. Unfortunately, health issues is preventing my them from joining us on this trip - so I guess I need to take extra pictures on this trip for them! Another change is that most of our cruises have been primarily - if not exclusively - to islands. This trip is almost a tour of Central America (with a taste of South America thrown in for good measure). Most of these places, as is our habit, are to places we have never been, along with an old favorite (gotta have the old favorites in there!). For those of you new to these chronicles, you may be interested in reading some of the previous trips, to give you a basis of how this one will go. So, here is our itnerary for the voyage: Monday December 6, 2010 - Port of Fort Lauderdale Tuesday December 7, 2010 - At Sea Wednesday December 8, 2010 - Cozumel, Mexico Thursday December 9, 2010 - Roatan, Honduras Friday December 10, 2010 - At Sea Saturday December 11, 2010 - Puerto Limon, Costa Rica Sunday December 12, 2010 - Colon, Panama Monday December 13, 2010 - Cartagena, Columbia Tuesday December 14, 2010 - At Sea Wednesday December 15, 2010 - Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Thursday December 16, 2010 - At Sea Friday December 17, 2010 - Port of Fort Lauderdale Epilogue - Somewhere in Western Massachusetts And here is an idea of where we are headed: As with some of the previous blogs, when there is an entry for that day, I'll put a bullet next to that entry so you will know to visit. Keep in mind that there may be more than one entry per day, so keep checking back.
